Well got round to posting about my old mans Ibiza, has been his daily for the past few years think its around 115 k on it and it still shifts, we found it after it had been stored for 5 + years after it was bought for a chaps nephew and not realising it was the system porsche 1500, it proved too much for a 17 year old to insure so it was put into dry storage .............5 years or so later we came across it. Its very clean, the others I have seen have been attacked with tin worm but this one is solid. I have had the pleasure of driving it when I sold my caddy and needed a car to get me to placement for a week , I was surpiseed how rapid it is!
think its very much fiat based but weighs in at around 750kg and around 75-80ish bhp? He wants an estate now, have been tempted to have it off him but due to my commute of 48 miles a day and saving to go traveling i got a k plate passhat in the background! (keeping it retro in my family) I will find out how much he wants and stick it in the for sales . I think they are ace little cars , we had a fiat uno that was as fun but no way near as rapid a few years ago.
Does any one know how to lower the rear ends on them? they are single cart sprung at the rear, I was thinking about how people slam fiat 126 s. they have a bit of lean in the corners but keep stuck to the road!
