This thread makes my head hurt!
Probably one of the highest WOW/photo ratio I've seen for a very long time. It'd be a lot quicker for me just to point out the few that don't make me wanna jump on a plane to the States right now.
Lovely shots Darren. After the beach meet earlier and then this......the RR mojo is pretty full on right now. Thanks for posting these up.

Some nice stuff there. Some of these events are just too big. I was thinking of comments on a few of the photos of some of the cars and such as I was going through but there's just too much there for me to start really. So I'll go with a Seth "Wow" and leave it at that.
$159K for a genuine Shelby is a sign of the recession I guess. ;D Investment at that money? or has the muscle car bubble burst? 7 figures for a Hemi 'Cuda seems a long time ago.

This one for me please. Drop, wheels and roll. Oh and love the pic of the 1929 Chrysler quarters. I always look and think "if they are the sellable parts, what was the rest like" lol Matt

Excellent stuff Darren, great to see you making sure people know where the images came from as well I'll probably tone it down for the next event pics, I just went through a phase of finding my work on websites with my address chopped off and other people's stuck on so I over reacted ;D Thanks for the compliments everyone... There's a hell of a lot more to come, and all the stuff that REALLY made me go "WHOAH" isn't up yet ;D

In trying to find out how much it is in Sterling (a smidge over £97k), I googled $159,500. Google returned many 3-bedroom houses from Florida to Arizona I think you could call that an investment, houses don't make anywhere near as nice a noise as a Shelby ;D

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Cosworth Smegas go quite cheaply too. Not long ago a sub-10,000mi minter went for under $10K USD. The rap on them is their ECM is rudimentary, the c:r too low, and Chevrolet killed most of Cosworth's recommendations for beefing the package. So, yeah, TWINK head, but lame performance. I test-drove one the week that my friend's daddy got him a new one, back in the mid-70's. It was just average get-up-and-go. But looked nice, no doubt, which people put a lot of stock in - right? Right! BTW: The $75K for that Bathtub Pooch hulk is just insane.

Darren, awesome shots, very evocative. I've yet to do a swap meet properly in the States ; the last time I went to a club get together \ autojumble thing and the majority of people whom I spoke to thought I was Australian ;D
My favourite shot has to be the one of the Opel GT and C3 Corvette parked together - the juxtaposition is fantastic.
