Just booked this for my wedding: It's not remotely unusual as wedding cars go (couldn't be more of a cliche, actually), but I am getting quite excited about it! My fiancee's parents had a Ford Galaxie when they got married. (As in the massive American car, rather than the Euro MPV, obviously.) Looks very cool in photos. I think my parents used a Hillman Husky... Oh, and when my cousin got married last year they had a fleet of Model T Fords!

Love the white Shadow dbizzle. There's a time and a place for unusual, there's also a time and a place for a white Rolls-Royce. The good lady got delivered, and we left in this RR Cloud II. The guests got collected from and returned to the reception venue in this Leland Leopard Coach. They made a nice pairing as they are both early 60's. I was quite dissapointed that Nikki wanted us to have the Rolls back to the reception as I would have liked to travel in the bus with the guests, but we had the car anyway and needed the seats in the bus. Mark's big wedding tip is, If possible get the guests collected from and delivered back to the reception venue. So many people said during the day and afterwards how nice it was to have the bus.

Another cousin of mine got married a few years back - she married an obsessive VeeDub dude (he's currently working on a splittie that he bought with a tree growing through the chassis) - they used this '59 oval-window that he'd built as their wedding car: All of his VolksMates turned up in their own Dubs, it was epic.

Ooh, that was my 800th post! In honour of that, here's the first image you get when you type '800 wedding car' into Google Images: Some legendarily poor photoshopping from the Daily Fail there.
