here is my 1979 starlet badboy. spec 2.1 pinto on twin 48's ashley comp mainfold type 9 gearbox escort crossmember and steering rack escort rosejointed TCA escort coilovers wilwood 4 pots up front sierra rear disks english axel plated slip diff stripped out cobra bucket seats side exit exhaust. thats about it for now. gonna start fabricating soon sonn be sick!!!!! PP FOR THE WIN

awesome! i had a 83 model and it was great. love the bugeye starlets though, definitely the best model ever made. very good mods there too, well done.
what are you going to start fabricating? looks like you've started a long time ago...

cheers peoples. gonna start facrication a ally tank sunk un the boot floor. proper seat mounts. tub the rear arches etc. exhaust tunnel. just trying to get bloody insurance again. they don't like the engine change. lol.

I think that it was featured along with a green one in a copy of Retro Cars a couple of months ago. Have to say it is nice to see it go from standard to its current guise. Will be keeping my eye on this.

just got myself a new welder and a giant bottle of argosheild. gonna be doing some welding on the beast watch this space. panhard rod. ally fuel tank hydro handbrake ready for santa pod drift what ya brung.

Very nice. and ingenious crossing of marques with the suspension. Personally I'd have used a Japanese engine for the swap but then... its not my car!

It does look actually spot on from the outside though.
