Note how there all rally/race cars and not driven on the public road by either a 17 year old or someone in there 40's going through a midlife crisis! By all means have em on your car, just don't switch em on! Couldn't agree more actually - I get similarly annoyed by McD's chavs and modern SUV driving footballers wives who insist on having auxiliary lights on for no reason when driving about town. But spotlights are great if you need to keep up a reasonable pace when out in the sticks. Bulb upgrades in the existing headlights often help too.

If it helps Hella and Cibie to stay in business and keep prices reasonable selling lamps to "McD chavs and SUV footballers" then fine with me. And if it heightens the general population's awareness of rally, even more so.
Kind of like open carry laws.... ;D

They really are for better driving conditions in the coutryside. Won't be using them in town. Firstly to see where I'm going but also to lower the amount of people coming the other way giving me full beam. My lights are too weak for them to notice me coming up to a turn, to put dimmers on. I tested this by keeping full beam for 40 miles without anyway flashing me. Both coming the other way and cars in front of me. I can't upgrade the headlight bulbs without changing the whole light. In france you're allowed 2 fogs and up to 4 spots. Not 1 or 3 though. I do think round ones look better on the whole. But These suit the car cos it's all straight lines. And I quite like the half moon spectacles look the lights on the grille give. Yellow and square? It's a French thing, you wouldn't understand. Well I mean I'm not French, but I know how they think.

87. It's one of the few AXs that don't have a rear foglight. A weird thing about the very first 5-door models. But I've been told the cables are in place to fit one. Will have to research it.
