Hi guys, After 2 years of reading, i decided to register. My first car was a Toyota Starlet from `94 (click to view ). My cousin had a Celica for a long time but didnt want to sell it.. now he has a litle kid growing up it was time to get rid of it. Finally i had the change to buy it.. i sold the Starlet and 2 hours later i picked up my new ride. It was looking like this: Not bad, i knew it was a nice looking car, but i expected some more rust like all other Celica T16`s in Holland. It had my favorit engine too, a 4A-GE.. The next day i cleaned it with some meguiars and did a photoshoot: I didnt sell my Watanabe rims that were fitted on the starlet. Time to find out how it would look like at the Celica: Not bad.. time to put them on (and make fun in the snow ) I know it`s screaming for lower springs.. i still need 2 order a set. I love music, so i fitted an Infinity composet and a small subwoofer. Well, that`s it.. hope u enjoyed it I don't make plans for the future.. we will see wich modification comes next

Really nice Celica I've one of these in black and its my forth....as I love them! Very underrated car. Yours appears to be a very clean example and looks sharp in 80's white

the last of the cool celica's in my opinion, lovely looking motor that, always fancied a gt4 in this shape

@goinfinn, yes it`s underrated.. that`s why this cars became rare in Holland. There are some for sale, but most of them are very rusty I agree with you, donttellhimpike.. one of the last cool ones. That`s why i really wanted a T16 and not a T18. RWD would be nice indeed! Let`s fit a corolla levin drivetrain!

These are awesome fun. The sweetest engine in them. The GT4 version was a little heavier and huge fun but the original was sparkly and alive in a way that the awd gt4 wasn't. These are great fun and it looks like you've got a shiny one.

My second car was one of these, loved it. Engine was 3S-GE though? The non-turbo version of the MR2 Turbo etc, did you get different engines over there (plates look non-uk?).

That is very nice indeed... The shape lends itself to some subtle modifications, and FWD or RWD a car can be made to go fast enough

Doc! U here? yeah its a big difference with my litle old starlet! I never showed it at @starletforum Speedle, yeh it`s really well spend money! Everyday i love stepping in my car ;D montythemole, i`ve got a 4a-ge, a 1.6 16v engine. I don`t know where they sold this engine, i think all over europe. It`s a very rare combination, most of the celica`s have a 4A-engine or a 3S-GE (like you). The 4a is a basic engine, with too litle horsepower. The 3S-GE is faster.. but heavier! Soon i`m gonna spend my money on a new distribution, a new front window (or how it`s called), and i want to get rid of the rust! It`s not much rust, only on a few places.. but i`m scared that when i wait too long it too far gone in a couple of years. Lets post a picture too ;D still not lowered

Explains the engine then, never knew they came with different units. Mine was a bit rusty even back when I had it. Sunroof and arches were going.
Does yours have the air vent under the steering column pointed straight at your equipment? Very odd I thought.
Being an 80s fan I think pop up headlights are the coolest thing ever!

Looks cool, I love the 4age too. Have you thought about two toning it, like the ae86?

Never thought about that, i don't think it`ll fit the model. I was thinking about spraying the roof black..
