One man's whinger is another man's freedom fighter. I'm sure to some King John was just crumpling to a bunch of moaners when he signed the Magna Carta in 1215. And with that, I am exiting this thread.... Back to ACE advice and updates! (If someone wants to seal the defeat of the UN and their vehicle harmonization one-world-isms, I'll be there in a flash to help. PM me.)

Just a coupla questions that I've just thought of..... As boxing a chassis is acceptable, does this mean that you can weld on brackets for shocks, radius arms etc (obviously without cutting anything out), and still claim the 5 points? Also, what about split wishbones on early Fords etc. Can they still claim the points for suspension, assuming both ends are on buggy springs?

" Each car on it's own merits " springs to mind. We have yet to clarify what is regarded as what and how original 'original' needs to be. Small brackets are acceptable ,watch for update coming on ACE site re more info on rebodying etc . I would think in that instance the Inspector would ask for clarification of how much is 'original' from an owners club, some will verify 'Coeval' mods ( out of period but as would have been done within 10 years of end of production ),other won't.
