is there any more progress pics on this car, id love to see some. sadly not at the moment its on the back burner for a little while whilst I do other projects I hope to be making a start on it in the new year I'm slowly gathering parts and info for the project but its not going to be a quick job with what I have planned there will be a lot of major engineering going into this to hopefully make an FB like nobody has ever seen

I look forward to seeing this done, truely it is one car I'm waiting for progress reports on. Are you still carrying on with the green and pinstripe plan, volvo engine and salt flats wheels, Hope so, I reckon the plan is spot on, I always loved Russ Hancox's old fb wagon, an all time favourite for me, so, it'll be good to see another one on the scene! Cheers paul

Cheers paul Cheers Paul plan is pretty much the same at the mo few small changes and the wheels may be different as ive found a few others that are pretty cool and may look even better hope to get it in the workshop by the beginning of march but its going to be a very big project with some the bits I have planned so wont be an overly quick project

well today the Victor was transported back to the workshop ready to get started I started off by taping some lines to give me some ideas as to what way to go about its new look pretty pleased with how they work then I needed to visualise the way the car should sit so made a start of stripping out the suspension, front only so far few of the panels placed on with lots of mods to be getting on with I finished the day with making a start on stripping the car this much out so far rest tomorrow all of the side glass will soon be going up for sale including the rear side window rubbers which were rare new old stock a few years ago

That was fast! Going for a van or a 2-door estate with this one? Proportions are really nice in the side profile now you've made the changes.

deffo not going van with this one its going to be a 2 door wagon it will have lightly smoked glass on the sides as the glass down the sides is all flat it shouldn't be to difficult to get it made . I have engine box and axle secured was going to go volvo 6 pot but the engine its getting now came up for the right price so now it will be going 2JZ instead

Bookmarking this one. The FB has gotta be one of the best-looking wagons built in the UK, and it looks like you're making a car that Vauxhall should have built!. All it needs is a nice stainless b-pillar for ultimate phantom win (hint hint!) !
