Excellent! Good idea with the remote turbo, you don't often see them on anything other than a few American cars (Which have plenty of space in the bay anyway!) What's the throttle response like? I know it's not quite the same on a turbo, but an N/A car with an intake that long would take about 25 seconds before realising you'd floored it! i'd love to V6 my Fiesta, too many mods needed as the bay is not too big. bet this thing will be crazy once fully running. did you take it up the 1/4 mile with its old engine? If it fits a Ka, it'll fit a mk1 fiesta... You know what you must do The remote turbo is not quite finished but I think it'll be ok, I've got a t34 turbo which will do 30psi all day long, it moves a phenomenal amount of air through the exhaust from the 3.0 which will keep the turbo spinning and the boost pipe back to the engine is 2 inches in diameter, it's all finger in the air stuff really so I'll have to suck it and see, even if it is a little laggy it's still a 3 litre engine which will be a lot nicer than a laggy 2.0. It's 8.1:1 c/r now with a standard Vauxhall ecu (thinking it's still 11 ish : 1) failing to cope with the change in ignition but it's still more than enough to keep up with those green mk2 focus RS'

good thinking on the mitsu 1.8 v6 boss, that mivec lump is a nice little block,
looks like were going to be up in about 2 weeks so we can get out for a curry and perhaps a bit of a tidy in the garage.

Cool Been looking at b16 vtecs on ebay today, I'm certain the inlet manifold will foul the master cylinder

I'm not a regular Performance Ford reader (sorry Chris... ), but I read that issue. Awesome idea, awesome conversion. The Mitsubishi FTO has a 1.8 V6, that'd make the right noises and would be smaller than the Ford and Vauxhall v6's MX3 is the 1.8 V6, the FTO is a 2l. People have got good power from turbocharging them too, so I hear.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

vtecs are a curse word as they spin the wrong way ;D thought about the mazda V6's but it does need to be as light as possible as i want to go round corners, not just in a straight line my plan involves either a 1.3 or 1.2 capable of plenty of horses, probably end up sticking under 200 but alas it depends what i can afford, and they it will be from a mazda ;D

Bonkers, truly bonkers. I have a secret thing for the Ka (Mrs B had a Sport, which was the best drivers car I've ever driven ) but this is in a different league.

...the ford v6 engine itself is 60 inches front to back... Huh? Typo? You're doing exceptionally neat work on the car, fella.

You must be Bob Frog ? I've heard a lot about this car from Nathan , Tiki and Ade and they were right , it is mental ! Brilliant piece of work mate Hi Julian, we have met before but I probably just looked like one of the numerous random's that follow Ade lol ;D Hehehehe , aye , there are a few of em I s'pose ! You should bring the Ka to one of Ade's T4srus open days so i can have a look at it . I think maybe we should have a little retro-rides meet sometime soon as there are quite a few south Wales members on here now ?

You're doing exceptionally neat work on the car, fella. 60 inches is what I remember it weighing in has, compare the vectra and mondeo engine bays, the vx v6 is tiny in comparison: This is the cavalier v6 in the corsa, the cav v6 is the same pretty much except for the plenum

You'd probably need some lairy cams to make 200bhp on a 2.0 Zetec and lots of cash I found this on ebay, he says at the bottom the loom and shafts are included: clicky
