Thanks to you both. I was hoping you'd sign up, Alistair. I know you've been very much a central hub for people on here before the only reason I hadn;t was I hadn;t seen the thread, I don't get the time to get on here as much at the moment.

I see youre lacking an essex/east anglia base so far. I can help with this dezLocation- dd metalworks, manningtree, essex- half way between colchester and ipswich, 5 mins off the A12. Storage- any parts not a problem, I can also accommodate cars by prior arrangement but my landlord charges ÂŁ40pcm for every extra car (parked outside is a secure, locked, CCTVed compound), so thats what itll cost you. Transport- passat estate with roof bars. I have access to a car trailer but no towcar at the moment. I can also get things couriered quite cheaply if people on ebay are too stupid/difficult to want to post stuff. personal visits/dropoffs/collections welcome, free brew and biccy(subject to me not having eaten them all ) with every visit. Regular routes- here to southend weekly, up to doncaster about 6 times a year. I occasionally do other trips too, they will be posted on the board beforehand.

never saw this, sorry, please add me to the map Location- D 71576 Burgstetten (Germany) Storage- cars, parts etc ... Transport- anything that fits into my Passat Estate Regular routes- not that much tbh, but we have a good transport network in the T25 community, so just ask; RR10 is on the cards, so that's another possibility

Location: west berkshire/Readingish
Storage pretty much anything at all short term (less than a week) small stuff long term no problem.. Cars or bikes: by agreement up to a month, dependent on how full my yard is. Transport: anything relatively clean that can fit into a large estate car, and is local, or I can offer my car trailer but I will need fuel covering for this unless it's very local (14mpg/ish) and this is ONLY available IF I have the time..
Routes:
Berks to Norwich 6-8 times a year Berks to Leeds 2-4 times a year Berks to North London most months Berks to Limoges France twice a year (smallish items only) Berks to Oxfordshire/Oxford city centre most days in term time
all these trips are in a large estate car but usually carrying 1 kid and 2 dogs so sorry no engines or back axles ect..

mrabody - Drew
Location - Chertsey KT16, Junction 11 M25.
Storage - room at the back of our shop, for short term in-transit storage although large greasy bits such engines and gearboxes might not be appropriate. Room in car-park for very short storage of in-transit vehicles although best for roadworthy (or roadworthy - appearing vehicles) as we share the carpark with the pub and there are pleny of travellers around here. Storage for greasy, large parts at my shed that I rent on a local farm.
Transport - I Don't get out much any more due to business commitments but happy to drop off within Surrey, Berkshire, South Middlesex area - W124 estate so can take quite large items. SWMBO on a daily commute to High Wycombe (XJ6 so limited boot space).

Great idea - I'm happy to help out where I can NomadLocation - Bishop Auckland DL14 (covering Tyneside) Storage - Limited but ask! Parts can be left in the Estate for a while. Transport - Hatchback with towbar + RAC motorbike trailer or Estate (no towbar) Regular routes - A1 North to Cramlington via Newcastle. Possible delivery to York for collection. Always keen for a run out (Yorkshire to Borders) if petrol costs are covered. Occasional circuit North East - Birmingham - North Wales. Possibly collect Ebay buys around the North East and post / Pony express onwards if costs are covered? Late edit to add : Would it be possible to add a link to some journey planner / distance calculator ? I use AA Route Planner online to get a quick idea of distance between places / postcodes, handy to see if a Pony Express volunteer is within pickup distance of Ebay sellers www.theaa.com/route-planner/classic/planner_main.jsp
