	The SM is a lovely shape as standard........of course its deff got works kinda look now but to me it just looks like a SM with the tail cut off

	Brutal! Definitely function over form, I like it for its uncompromising look. Is it a Citroen-built car? That rear mesh on the Kamm tail looks factory.

	hmm why do we think it was done, to salvage a rear ended one, or actually done for lightness/handling To me it looks to impovised to be intentional I reckon it was an alternative use for one that was uneconomical to repair after a hard rear end shunt. Good find though, you'd never park next to another one!
	The Internet, like all tools, if used improperly, can make a complete bo**cks of even the simplest jobs...

	In all fairness to the original design, they do have a fair amount of rear overhang which if used for rallying over rough ground would prob make it a bit......err.......tail happy ;D Chopping the rear off prob does help it

	Kinda looks like a Saabs sonnets big brother.. And can anyone work out where that rear window came from, looks like it might be the front grill of a truck or big van?

	I'm not quite sure about the chopped version - the side view makes it look a bit like a lame dog to me. The tail's just that bit too short for the vertical balance of the front and rear ends. But I reckon the SM's a stunner, almost. The bit I think makes it wrong is the flip on the boot to accomodate the numberplate (surely an afterthought): I reckon that if that wasn't there it would be a truely world class shape alongside things like 250GTO and Dodge Charger. This is better: Can someone make me one please? In this colour? (Sorry for the primary school standard 'photoshopping'.)
