if we're onto at and ebay pet hates..... the ones that can't be ar5ed to remove an advert and just put "sorry now sold" in there instead. happens on both sites.
but yeah the finance thing is super-annoying (if i'm searching for Golfs for less than £500, DO YOU REALLY THINK I CAN AFFORD AN 06 PLATER? DO YOU?) and the ebay "Golf Driver not VR6 GTI R32" - well gee shucks i thought they were the same thing. i might start using the 'ask the seller a question' and ask if they're sure it's not a VR6 GTI R32 cos it really looked like one.

I like it when the description starts out "one of the best in the UK", absolutley mint etc etc then later on in the now obligatory bad points that's supposed to convince you that the seller is an up front and honest guy it says "small scratch on rear wheel arch, stone chip on bonnet, totally burnt out in garage fire!
Or the description reads like a concours winner and the picture is of a car three cars up in a scrap yard!

I hate morons that mis-spell key words like 'gear' for Ghia, when the badge is stuck on the back of their car.

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

I don't often bother with Autotrader.... I must have spent hundreds on ATs over the past ten years, and hours on their website, and I've never bought a car advertised in AT. Is it just me, or are most of the cars over-priced, badly described, too far away, or (worst of all) sold, because some b*****d got down the newsagents fifteen minutes before you did.....
I'm sure there are deals to be had, you just need to take friday off work!
The real complaint, though, comes after advertising the other half's '97 VW Polo last spring.... I got four 'phone calls from idiots (asking questions which were answered in the advert, offering half what it was advertised for etc). Fair enough. But I also got nine calls from people with the old "register with us, we've got sixteen people who live in your road, all with big wads of cash, who've been queuing up since last thursday to buy your car. That'll be £80, thanks". Riiiiiiight.....

Loot used to be a good place for pretty solid bangers. Even some of those advertised as spares or repair were pretty good, just no MOT
