Hi All, This is my latest little run around, well will be when I get it through the MOT ;D I purchased the little Fiat from a fellow RR member, when I say purchased I mean swapped When I got the car there were a few small issues with it the main one you will see when you look at the photos Firstly the engine was running but only from a petrol can and not pulling through from the tank, I have tinkered and put in fresh fuel to find that the inlet and return from the tank were the wrong way round, easy fix after I spotted it, (3 afternoons work) I replaced the fuel hoses with ones supplied, but this proved to be a fiddly little job. The drivers side indicator wasn't working, suspected a bulb, always go for the cheap option first. Removed the lense pulled the bulb, that was good, jolly pain in the backside a wiring snag, went to the rear of the indicator and jiggled the earth, hey presto! she worked. Just need to replace a wiper blade, and find a passenger mirror, give the brakes a good looking at and all will be good, fingers crossed. So the waiting over here she is, in all her pink glory ;D I will get some interior pictures when I have cleaned the inside out, there is another nice surprise in there aswell ;D Anyone else out there running around in a Fiat 126? Cheers, Stu.

Cor, I remember this! I've driven it briefly around a pub car park in Northants. Good to see it's still 'in the family.' There are quite a few 126ers on here I think. See if it flushes them out!

I'm hoping to get her ready for the next meet ;D planning on the the car going through the MOT first time. Let's hope we get a few more owners popping their heads up. Cheers, Stu.

What makes me giggle about car owners...is there could be a £60.000 TVR sat next to a little fiat...and the fiat would draw more attention!!!!!
GOOD!!!!!!!!!

I have just bought 4 part worn tyres all 4mm+ so good for the MOT, these came in at £56 delivered, ordered yesterday evening arrived 9am this morning I will get this fitted by the end of the week, then it is just a matter of insurance. I have her booked in for an MOT on the 2nd June, give it a good going over and a spin to ensure everything works ok and hopefully out for the meet on the 4th Cheers, Stu.

Looking forward to updates on this one. Really regret not bringing one of these back with me when I was coming home from a year in Poland.
The few I've seen for sale over here are crazy prices.

The few I've seen for sale over here are crazy prices. hey do seem to be fetching silly money at the moment. The wife has now told me that she wants the car, so it will stay pink for a while yet I would have loved to have matt blcked with red steels and hit with the stick, but if she wants it she can learn to drive and use it ;D. So unfortunately there isn't going to be much in the way of updates on this for a while, just use it as is. Cheers, Stu.

I like the bumperless look, is it going to be fully smooth over?
Cheers,

As owner said,it will recieve old Fiat 126 chrome bumpers but it will remain the side plastic trim, dunno why he didn't removed it before the painting.

Just got the Fiat back from the testing station, went straight through no advisories . Not bad for a car that has sat for 4 years in a barn, I was really shocked. The tester even got his mechanic in to have a look underneath, none of them could believe how solid it was. ;D Me chuffed, you fuc*ing bet. Just the tax and the little beauty will be at the Peterborough meet on sunday. Cheers, Stu.
