Hi Guys My missus really wants a T4 converted to a dayvan type thing, (same as 90% of the other people in Cornwall) However i can`t afford the type of money that these things fetch(and also i don`t want the same as everyone else) So i`ve been thnking outside the box a little and came up with a Nissan Vanette 2.3d,(the later type) The only problem is my missus can`t imagine what they would look like with alloys and a hit with the stick Could someone do me a quick photoshop so she would have an idea of how one would look Thanks Adrian

This looks very T4 like flickr.com/photos/39839593@N00/174051067But you will never know, coz the link doesn't work! Sorry about that, still finding my way around. Google "Yellow Nissan Vanette" in images and it should be there

These are great vans... and what ya know... i've got one, and its fully converted and ready to roll... full mot (had welding on sills and bottom arm two weeks ago) Plan it well inside and it'll be great, mine is fully insulated, ply lined, trimmed (fur on ceiling!), laminate stylee floor, LCD tv with freeview and dvd, seating that folds out to double bed, led downlighters, split charging to a 700amp batt in the rear (cant flatten the thing!) Mine is sporting some merc amg stylee split rims... gonna paint it this week (sill welding made it look tatty) then its up for sale as my next project awaits... I've had mine for years and been away in it loads for days at a time.... they're great... slow, noisy, but great... and they can be doctored to run on veg oil - free fuel!! GET ONE (or buy mine) I'll get pics over next few days, as its chilling down at my lock up at the minute.

OOOOOOF!! Thats just what i`m looking for Thanks Guys ;D (its got everything I thought of doing side windows/coloured bumpers etc....) Is that a Photoshop of the one above it? Cheers Adrian as much as i'd like to say it is, it isn't. but I couldn't refind the original on google after I played with it so I had to use a different one up here.. really quite like the look if these vans, the chop makes me think of a british version of a chevy astro.

I'm sure I've seen one of these with LDV badges on it, can that be right? A first generation Mercedes Benz Vito could make a fair Astro clone. Could be difficult to lower it by a decent amount and they weren't really up to the normal Merc standard of reliability (especially the early ones). They can rot a bit too.

On the white one is it just the ride height and rims you`ve changed?
If so I can`t believe how different it looks ;D

If it is the Nissan, it would be properly built and it could be a good source for a RWD diesel with a five speed set up. Someone on here suggested that the Nissan 2.3D was a bolt in on a RWD Bluebird, which sounds interesting. Regards DW
