I think this thread kind of captures what this place is all about - I've thought about modded K10 Micras, but never the K11's. Up until now I'd just written them off as modern blobby tat, but with the right treatment they can look really cool! Don't know if I'd seriously consider owning one (yet), but all smoothed out and slammed, they look the dogs danglies!

K11s are much easier to find pics for! If I was gonna spend £500 on a Micra I'd be looking for an ex-pensioner K10 rather than a tatty bargain basement K11. Still can't find enough K10 pics though, so here's another '11!

It's the lack of inspirational pics that dissuades me, but that's a perfect excuse to create something worthy ;D Yeah, it looks like theres some ground breaking to be done. mine were no way modified, just bread-and-butter, comfy roomy and light, theres gotta be potential if you get a cared for one , so rusts not a big deal then give it some handling equipment and a lowering, its begging to be done...

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

HAH HAH! ;D I think I need to break out photoshop... There's a white micra in our street sometimes. I'll go see if it's there and photo it in preparation later In the meantime: hadn't seen that pic of it before. My new desktop background I really, REALLY want it to have a deep, raspy, hollow, revvy straight-through bark to it, like the old Kit-Car Rally Saxos

Has anybody else noticed that this micra has got wind deflectors ;D. I think it looks cool. Kinda goes with the arches. So what are your dream micra's(that sentence obviously contradicts itself). Obviously most of you havee built one in your head. Late K10 with the black bumpers. Absolutely slammed with either 13x8" steels or minilights/wanntabe's obviously in black, with wing mounted wing mirrors. With a 2.0 16v from a primera GT etc running TB's and wild cams and a proper raspy exhaust. Get bout 220bhp N/A oh yeah

At the moment, I'm deeply in love with that yellow one It's pretty much perfect IMO. I would MAYBE add some black and white checks somewhere

K10 - Collette colours (silver/black with multi colour separating stripes) - slammed over deep dish (black centres/ polished rim) Superlites/Rewinds/Watanabes - offset front (Japanese) plate, standard position J-plate at rear - 2.5" stainless centre-exit exhaust - mybe some simple Hot Rod inspired striping on bonnet/tailgate in the Collette stripe colours. Ah-ha! Found a Collette on the 'bay!

Oooh yeah... OR NATO green all over, offset front plate, random japanese lettering stencilled in small letters along the side (where you'd see a "16 valve" decal on a K11) on wide black steelies with stretched tyres. OR Satin red, with a black bonnet and gold/polished alloys. Chunky tread tyres, really square shouldered, and spotlamps. Sort of rally inspired but not.
