It was a late night ebay bid which i didnt expect to win, i bought it because i had one before which i loved and the only reason i sold it was because i was given a car by my mum after they tried to px it and were offered about £2.50 (it was an mg zs). I had the intention of driving it for a bit whilst doing it up for sale and in my usual style i have spent about twice as much in parts as what i paid for the car! So it'll be another loss when the time comes. It is mechanically perfect now but it is in laquer peel green and the interior fell apart quite literally as i was driving it home and interior is virtually impossible to source,so i did this instead.
I know,i know its stickerbomb but i didnt know what else to do ,its also been lowered on springs 60/40 so handles really well but is really hard! I'm hoping to punt it off to some scene kiddy for much monies in the near future.
This is 'Wassabi' a 1980 hiace rio camper. I won it after drunkenly bidding on it on ebay a week or so ago. It's a complete curse word heap, but it has 12 month's MOT and got me back to Northamptonshire from North Wales without any issues.
I kind of like the whole rattiness of it (and believe me its mainly rust and filler) and it doesn't matter if the kids trash it this summer when we take it to the beach a few times.
