:)i,m afterb pics of modified 77-81 hi-ace campers[or urvan similar etc] struggling anyone got any??? SOD THAT NOW I GONE AND BLEDDY BOUGHT ONE !!! tatty rusty 1980 1600 ,pice when i get it back fron tonks ,[whom is condemning it as we speak] JAMPER!!

yes i'm a big fan of yours matt ,i had a look round it at santa pod, is it 1600? how do you find it to live with etc? what is the suspension configuration? cheers john

yes i'm a big fan of yours matt ,i had a look round it at santa pod, is it 1600? how do you find it to live with etc? what is the suspension configuration? cheers john mines the 2.0litre, I've driven a 1600 and it did seem to struggle with the weight of the van. 2.0 is much better although seemingly a bit rarer. Living with it is very easy, it drives like and 70's or 80's j-tin, controls are nice and light (bar low speed steering) It will cruise at 70 and on a steady 60 back from the retro show I got 34mpg! I was using it as my daily for a month! Suspension is live axle leaf spring at the back and coil springs on the front. Only real problem is they like to rust but what 70's comercial doesn't ;D    |

I hate to say this but there was one of these locally which was sat for years. I asked about it and even gave the owner my details as he was thinking of scrapping it. Went past last week and its gone (at least ring me you pillock  ) |
