They were pretty rare even when new, weren't these the sort of 'mini chopper' style 50? Wheels look a lot like the standard Suzuki type of that era but are possibly rare. I can't see them being worth huge amounts though sorry. Think it'll be circa 1982?

wheels looks just like gn/gs125 wheels, so probably not rare in that department, but the rest is rare.

Never seen or heard of them before... Is it a Japan home market only bike???
Looks like a fun alternative to the usual FS1E or AP50.... great project!
Is it complete?? Or just the frame??

Or just the frame?? no ,at least i don't think so. my mate jamie had a red one years ago, wanst particulary quick (can you describe a 50 as quick? lol) but we had fun with it and my MB50 i cannot remember the last time i saw one,so probably not common

I remember them in the brochures and couldn't wait to see one in real life. A local Suzuki dealer had one in and we used to go and laugh at it and take bets as to how long it would take them to sell it! I've only ever seen perhaps about three on the road, it'd be nice if this one made it back onto the streets.

Now thats got me going again.
My mum used to ride a black one, with a small wooden box mounted behind the seat, which fitted the dog, or a couple of litres of milk and a loaf of bread.
The were rare, I saw one in Redhill once about 6 years ago at a hospital.
Would love a more complete one for nostalgic reasons.
Hope you find the bits you need.

Hi although these wheels look like many other suzuki alloys of the 80's. It's the size that makes them unusual 14" rear and 17" front. OR50's are a rare bike as they were only imported for 1 year (79 - 80) so not many around. A lot of components are the same as suzuki zr50 x1 and other suzuki's and so are quite easy to find on ebay etc. hope this helps

That would look great if you stretched that rear wheel out a bit.
