Bought this back in September. I had no intention of buying it but I made an offer anyway which to my surprise, he accepted. Woohoo! After the wife calmed down, I cracked on and hit with the lowering stick. painted the wheels so that's it. Some say, rather than lowering it and painting the wheels, I should really have sorted out it's starting issues. It's a valid point I suppose.....

Potential to be a real winner in this world of sameness.
Go for it.
Look toward the true "Hotrod " scene for inspiration.

Sorted out the starting issues by swapping the entire engine and overdrive gearbox from phase2tony's V8 project. Cheers Tony ;D Well pleased with it.

Well after a lot of curse word about, it was easier to replace the whole thing and thanks to Tony, the timing was perfect (in both senses). And I got overdrive too ;D I've stripped the original engine and I'm amazed it ever ran at all!! Broken piston rings, scored bores, big end bearings shot, broken and missing valve springs!
