don't know why , but every Xr2 i've ever known in this colour has always been in far better nick than all the rest , I reckon the paint must have offered better protection or something! lol
My mate had 2 this colour and they were both stone mint! Both just normal everyday runners too , not previously enthusiast owned or anything.

Funny you should say that because....
This is the second one I've had the same colour and the first one was a complete rotbox! And the paint had faded and gone off colour in places, put me off wanting another blue one... But here we are with the best one I've owned yet ;D

What you're doing looks ace mate, not keen on molesting old XR2s though but each to their own. The bit I'm after for my XR2 is that front valance... That is missing from yours Mine's got a big gash out of it, not sure how it got there but it looks cack and I want it to be perfect ;D Guess I'll be searching the bay that is E soon... got the bit your after.. got the complate body kit to go with it to!

Hey people, I'm Dylan and I'm from my mummy's tummy, but currently living, as always, in Cornwall UK. I drive a MK2 XR2, it's my 4th one so far becasue I just can't get enough and have never found a car I prefer to drive more, it makes me smile whenever I'm behind the wheel Here it is Was this parked on the road between Bethel and the bottom of Sandy Hill a couple of days ago? I was in my car with a mate and we both noticed it! He said, quote, "I would love one of them. And in that colour." If it was yours, it looked bleddy lovely. Pm on the way about summat else too

Well my little baby was up for sale all week with no real interest even at £650 - I think perhaps the whole world has gone mad, or nobody wants an XR2 right now but that is their loss because... On Monday I'm cashing in the tax. If the weather is OK next week I am taking the spot lights and gubbins off and putting them on my Escort. Then I'm going to remove the bodykit ready for some restoration. And the kit will most likely stay off and the car will go radiant red (because we all know red cars are fastest)! I also fancy putting a turbo under the bonnet so.. Plans... Obviously this will take some time unless I win the lotto (I don't actually do the lotto) because I am doing things to the Escort in the meantime. But there is a nice plan for the old Fiesta eh?
