That is superb! The coupe chop looks excellent and it's not something i've seen on a Beetle before. I really like the fact that it looks like a rod (which most 'volksrods' don't seem to pull off IMO) but yet it still has the certain Beetle feel to it. I'd like to see it painted in satin black though!

Perfect, a very strong 10/10 from me. Is that very clever use of an old 2cv bonnet on the front of it? As said, most beetles just carry an influence of rodding as a volksrod, to me that just looks like a rod. Simples. And as over-done as satin/matt black is at the moment, its the only thing for this imo.

I do like that. I think Volksrods can sometimes look a little half-arsed, just a Beetle with the wings taken off. The extra work in this really elevates it; it's like a proper rod made from a Volkswagen, like a Volks-rod...

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

That's very cool. I wonder is it going to be left unpainted - cant help but think that would be lovely in gloss black, especially against those chrome portholes and the wide whites. Good work that man

Awesome , think i'd loose the ports though, and run it with fat and skinny ARE five spokes.

Very very nice, matt black with red rims would be a waste of such a nice car. Gloss black suits the lines much better. It has alot more classy 40's coupe lines than boxy a/b/t ford brutalaty, and would therefor work alot better with a little class..

some bits i love, some I'm not so sure.
i really like the bonnet and windscreen treatment, but id loose the portholes, they're too kustom for the rest of it. i like the idea of the coupe job, but it just looses something for me in the exectution. I'm not quite sure why, but there something I'm not feeling about it, i thick its the decklid shape/how high up it finishes more than anything. its by far the best example of a coupe ive seen so far though.

Personally, I'd do it in Candy Pagan Gold with a white tuck'n'roll interior, but that's just me. The proportions are spot on, and I really like the high level brakelight.

fantastic. That really works for me. I hear what dez is saying, I do, but I wouldn't change it.
A deep kandy red would be my choice. Gloss black would rock also
