Well things will be starting again shortly. The plan is to get all that curse word paint off and get the shell finished and up to scratch. Once the bodywork is done we can take a methodical approach to the mechanical side of things. Obviously we will have to check everything that Wyatt Earp had already had a go at. bortaf - have you any idea when you'll be breaking that car? Is there an LSD available?

NNNOOOOOO!!! Don't do it! It's such a cool car. Can't you just tuck it away until your mojo comes back? TonyBmw will fix it for you

After going through this a couple of times with cars (fortunately (if you can see it that way) not quite as special as yours I admit (including the Stag)) it is pretty depressing and annoying to see it occur, especially on something you have poured a significant amount of money and time into. Whatever you decide to do with the car put it down to experience and enjoy your rides . Whilst I understand your reasons for wishing to rid yourself of the BMW I can understand your reasons. It would be great to see a slice of TWR history back on the road though. Oddly enough, the chap I bought the Sprint off sold it for similar reasons to you. With the amount he threw at it for 18 months, he could have bought a very mint Sprint, as close to a show winner as you can get!
