If you want to get where water can`t.................. out the SJ and buy a panda 4x4,i`ve been place`s motorbikes go in a panda, smiles per miles ££££ ;D don't get me wrong, I love big trucks but. they are good for smushing through snow and mud on the main roads but too big for uk back roads(apart from the Vitara), for them you need something small and light. then you can squeeze past tight spots and get where ever else you want to go without worrying about getting stuck. Suzuki SJ, half the weight of a 110.

My old Nissan RD28T-powered Range Rover's been documented here many times. Probably out of everything I've owned it's the one I miss the most. AWESOME tool for marshalling/spectating on rallies. Nowadays team-wise we run these: Ranger isn't retro, but only cost Rob £750. Drives lovely, you wouldn't believe it's got almost 270,000 on the clock now! LSD in the back means fun even when running in 2WD... 300TDi Disco auto belongs to the guy who owned the blue Fronty you can see in the top pic. Lifted, camber-corrected, polybushed, yadayada. He's spent a small fortune on it and isn't afraid to get it wet/muddy..... ;D

I'd go for a 505 Dangel Especially with high roof. Blue with black stripe ones like this are ex-EDF Or a nice and light C15 Dangel Simple AX 4x4. A sleeper offroader. And a Lada garage near La Rochelle.

Some people are like Slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.
