The Sticker Bomb book by Studio Rarekawai is available here for under a tenner, with free delivery www.bookdepository.co.uk/book/9781856695671/Sticker-BombBook 2 is also on their site, plus other books in the same category might be of interest... Have used The Book Depository a couple of times and find them usually cheaper than either Ebay or Amazon for books ;D

Stickerbombed my phone last week, using the stickerbomb 2(christmas pressie from the MRs) looks good, but they're getting very worn already. I'd take a picture, but the only camera I have right now is my phone itself… <dashes off to find nearest mirror> BTW, there is nothing, NOTHING dodgier than the sound of a camera clicking in an empty WC…

Well I didn't use many of the sticker packs in the end.......I bought various skate ones (maybe 10 large and 30 small) but a friend of mine owns a mountainbike website so managed to get a load off him for free (maybe 20-30)......I wasn't sure on how much they'd cover really, but laid them out first to see what sort of area i might cover and then just went for it.....i also went to my local skate shop and asked if they had any spares......they did me a deal of around 30 small stickers for about £8, after i explained what it was for they liked the idea......i was fussy about the stickers i used as wanted to have a bit of a theme, but happy with the results i got, maybe a few more would finish it off nicely......have to goto another shop or more ebay to fill it up a bit better, you can count them if you want but it was a good chunk of stickers to start with.
around 90 stickers of various sizes would be my best guess......but i didn't have that many big ones to start with, id say put the large ones on first spaced out then fill the gaps with smaller ones.

slight thread hijack but I have a quick stickerbomb related question. Do you just put the stickers on and leave it or do you spray a layer of laquer or something over them?

If it's on the outside and you're wanting them to stay for a while a lacquer is best. Personally I don't lacquer because I feel it's better to always be adding to the bomb, but that's just preference.

I don't laquer either due to just adding more stickers when i fancy it, plus the bleeched out look and the torn edges adds to the whole thing

Cool I'm going to be doing the inside roof of my Escort as I don't think I'll ever get round to putting the headlining in. I was thinking of spraying it with laquer once they are all on, might help hold them on a bit too

I didn't laquer the ones on the front of my caddy (which are hiding a 'there-I-fixed-it-esque' repair) and they've been on for a few months now. Also, I reckon it looks much better if you cut some of the stickers up at the edges of the panels, rather than lining the edge of the sticker up with the edge of the panel (if that makes sense?) Here's the caddy... Joe

The guys over at Touge Automotive do a Stickerbomb wrap now which comes as one piece which you cut to shape. If I was to do another Bomb I would have this as my base layer before laying my stickers over the top since you get the proper Stickerbomb look without seeing what's underneath without wasting so many stickers.

My first attempt on centre console of MX5. Mixture of 'I say ding dong' seconds pack and some mountain bike stickers.
