I was looking for a Morgan, I suspect this is a replica, doesn't look quite right to be a Morgan to me.
Yep I reckon your right wheels are too wide, engine sits too far back and it doesn't look like a matchless or a J (sorry censor wont let me enter the companys name) engine. Still cool though
My workshop landlord has a genuine 1935 Morgan supersports and it is fairly different. His is a later car as it has a spare wheel. the earlier cars where unusual in that the wheels especially the rear where not easily removable apparently. They sound properly awesome in the flesh and are a hoot to be taken in even if 30mph feels more like 90mph ;D
I don't think anyone is going to confuse the name of a motorbike engine manufacturer for a potentially offensive term for the Japanese
As for the relaunched Morgan, the story goes that a company in America called Liberty Ace was building replicas using a Harley Davidson V-twin mated to a Mazda 5 speed box. Morgan liked the idea so much that they decided to build their own version of their version. Or something. So the engine is likely to be a Harley Davidson engine, or, according to some reports (like this one in the Telegraph), a remanufactured J.A.P. engine. The press release states a target of 100bhp, so I reckon the Harley engine. It's definitely not a Hayabusa because that's a 1300cc 4 cylinder
