My lovely husband decided to join in the fun this weekend so Saturday we drove in the van 3 hours each way to collect a 1947 BSA and then rushed back to get to CMC before 5.30 to get him a new lid (the last one got pinched).
Then we had a bloody brilliant Sunday afternoon, riding round sampling the local pubs and having a laugh.
Some more piccies...

Thanks for the comments, I'm loving it. We do have a good forecast this weekend and I'm hoping to get out on it tomorrow for a run up to Mamtoor. Apparently it's going to be 21°c 😀 I'll have to get some more pics.
The day has finally come. MOT and service at HarleyWorld on Tuesday followed by a short ride out. Then a professional clean and coating in ACF50 on Wednesday morning followed by an afternoon ride out with a couple of mates I'm looking forward to riding more, this is great!

Sorry to have irritated, you, I have been speaking to you over text though which is why I didn't respond on here. I'm still a bit short of cash for your wheels, If you still have them when I have saved enough and nothing cheaper has come up in the mean time, I will have them off you. Also in the mean time if you get a better offer don't worry about saving them for me, first come first served is the fairest way.

does it turn over manually? what was the mileage on this engine? and what year was it removed from?
Hi,
It's an autobox, it does turn over manually, it was running when removed. It's done 87000 miles and it was removed from a D reg so 1986. If you have any more questions don't hesitate to message, post or give me a call 07446163061. 🙂 Thanks
