I can recommend the automotec scissor lift, whilst you cant fold it and take it with you but the car feels more stable whilst working under. It’s mobile and can be wheeled easily by one person compares to the drive over type, rises to a good working height comes with extensions for 4X4 and vans I was abit sceptical when they first came out and saw it in pics but I cant imagine working without it. Note, the chinese copy's on ebay are not built the same. automotechservices.co.uk/products/as-7630-mobile-scissor-lift/I bought the drive over scissor type first, but quickly found they are more heavier and cumbersome to move around on your own and need more space to move about, also you need to get creative for vans or 4x4s.

What's the harm in opening them? It's usually only one screw and it allows you to remove all dust from every nook and cranny. Open it if you like it, I’m just saying what I do to prolong the life of one.

Not going to lie, for donky work I use aldi or lidl grinders i have a 14 year old parkside grinder that has seen some hard work wirebrushing chassis, plates and all sorts, lately been using the aldi battery one for running a wirewheel and its great.
Top tip occasionally give the grinders a purge with the airline to get rid of internal dust (without opening)

I love how the panel form makes it look like they're genuinely differently colours, looks great! It almost looks photoshopped! Brave choice on colour but it looks amazing! Thanks! 👍 Yea, one of the reasons I like square cars, and I think the matte finish compliments it.

If you flashy recomend you buy the colad presure one,(not 3 pieces colourd kit) else, the autosmart work a treat 👍 brake cleaner, paint thinners, tfr, put anything through them.

So the car sat around since the weekender21, done a few local meets, at this point it went from a diary to a project 🤣🤣. Weekend before the gathering 21 woke up on a Sunday and decided the car was missing something and I couldn't take it to the gathering as it.. spoke to Rich about Montana, and got ordering. Tuesday the paint arrives.. Thursday after work I start stripping the trim, sanding the crappy lacquer peal on the ns bonnet and boot. Friday paint goes on like magic, left to air dry Saturday morning get back in fit all the brightwork and bits I had taken off before paint. An drive straight to gathering.
