Shows are often as good as you make them. I felt disappointed after this one but mainly because I hoped there'd be more non-vw stuff and that RR would have a stand I could meet people at.
I did get a saucy wink off one of the ticket girls and got to bomb across the fields (much to some other peoples amusement) in the Jeep though.

I enjoyed it! I remember seeing the red manta and knew it was from here when i saw the towbar. However i'm unbelievebly curse word when it comes to remembering cars and usernames!
Defo up for next year, a RR show stand would be supurb!

I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended the show over the weekend and to all the show winners.
We had more retro cars and people attend this year and the feed-back we have had has been very good.
The event was advertised as 2 shows in 1 and which I think works well as it adds variety to the event and i know alot of people from the VW scene that love looking around the Retro cars and vicer versa.
The event is advertised as much as we can and unfortunately we cannot force people to bring their cars along to the event, even when we offer Free weekend entry, but saying that we had 140 cars on display (with just under 1/2 of these being Retro vehicles) and 55 trade stands, which is not bad for a show in its early days, plus there were a number of other major shows on over the same weekend which makes it hard for a new event.
The idea of the show was to give the retro car scene an additional boost in advertising the scene, plus offer a relaxed and cheap weekend and at a great venue, so would love to see you guys along next year and remember if you pre-book you get in for Free.
Photo's will be up-loaded on the website shortly.
Would also like to hear any ideas anyone may have for next year's event, so just drop me an e-mail.

Any chance of publishing the results? I had a four hour drive ahead of me and sadly couldn't hang about. Thoroughly enjoyed it again this year cheers!
