Based on the success of last year's event, we are running it again this year. Held in Warwick's Market Place, which will be closed off for the day, we can get approximately 80 cars parked up at any one time. Last year we had about 55 cars parked at once with about 70 turning up in total during the day. On site, there are 3 pubs, numerous coffee shops and cafes, shops museums and a huge castle! Anything pre-1990 goes - retros, classics, kit cars, rods, scooters bikes, commercials....... Same format as last year: turn up, park and enjoy. No need to book and its free! Further pictures from last year from RR member Yantorsen:- retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=87033Please spread the word! Cheers Matt

Update:
The All or Nothing Scooter Club of Coventry and Warwickshire and the Triumph Owners Club of Meriden will be meeting up in the Market Square for their run to the Coventry Transport Museum. I'm expecting at least 100 scooters and bikes to turn up.
should be a good day if the weather is good and plenty of cars turn up.
Any questions, pm me.
Regards Matt

fingers crossed then (hows the slush box coming on the stag ) In other news, our local Fiat Dealer "Grays of Warwick" has a very tasty nuovo 500 in their showroom. They will be bringing it, along with a new 500 to compare side by side. Keeping the Fiat theme, "Cotswold 500", a classic car hire company specialising in classic Fiat 500's will hopefully be coming along in one of their 500's.

fingers crossed then (hows the slush box coming on the stag ) Stag is in the tranny place as we speak. Last time I saw it, the bonnet was open with them faffing around with the downshift linkage. MG may not be there, but the 205 probably will be. I better give it a polish! Great news on getting groups involved in this. I'm trying to spread the word about this meet.

if anybody is local or in Birmingham/Coventry and wants some flyers, please pm me. Don't think I'm ignoring you this year Matt - it's just that I've relocated and am down here in Zummerzet these days! Can't imagine an improvement on last year's cracking day out but sounds like you've managed it. Good luck and sorry I can't make it. Oh, btw, Paul at Polished Services in the centre of Leam will probably have some flyers from you if you've not managed to get some in there already.

Last bump before Sunday. Based on the number of enquries I'm getting, its looking to be a packed with classics. Its completely free and no need to pre book. Everything pre 1990/retro/kitcar/hotrod/commercial/military is welcome (if you are unsure, please call me Matt 07891456538). There are 4 pubs, a museum, 3 cafes/coffee shops, 2 sweet shops, 1 ice cream shop and other shops all onsite......oh and a very large castle 5mins walk away. So plenty for all the family to do! Parking is normally pay and display and restricted to 2hrs so its a rare opportunity to park up for free (all day)in the centre of major tourist attraction! Enter the town centre via the coloured routes shown: cheers Matt
