Awesome first post. So many I'd rock out of that lot.
I'm strangely drawn to the blue mini van, and I don't usually get minis...
Welcome along.

Cheers folks!! Appreciate the encouragement, ive been into old cars for as long as i i can remember, i live on the theory that id rather have something that i can park in a tescos and KNOW I'm not going to bump into another one (grey mondeo anybody?) The wheels on the cortina were Brooklands rims (15's) off a capri but it depends if you're still running drums on the front as I'm not sure if they'll fit. I had disks I blooming loved that car, bench seat across the front and a column change gearbox, although the steering was a little ropey to say the least id have another mk2 in a heartbeat but I'm into old mercs at the moment and if i bring another car home the old lady will have my balls off with a rusty knife before i can even get my key in the front door

Mini vans are all fantastic. Wide wheels on them are brilliant.
The red E28 really tickles my fancy, and I notice it's one of 'ours' too (NI plate)!

If you do change your mind about another mk2 let me know as I might be tempted to sell mine, it just needs the last cosmetics doing.
