With a new gasket
Cooler refitted to the block

This very thin plastic shim is important - i've replaced it with new
Balance shaft seal replaced
And refitted to the block
Last but not least the water pump
crispy old gasket
gone
new gasket
And refitted but i forgot to take a pic
Getting a bit carried away i decided to put the cam box back together too
New seal
Gear on
Nearly there - end plate refitted
Done
This brings us to tonight - before i could do anymore i needed to clean up some more bits
Pullys
flywheel
the important sump and cam box bolts
And a couple of other bits
Just washed and dryed these bits
The degreased and hot washed the rest
Breather pipes all cleaned and dryed - some of these are perished and need replacing
Sump bolts and the other more delicate bits in the fine hand shot
I didnt want to go mad on these so they got the fine shot too
This pully needed the coarse shot - i did it by hand in the coarse hand shot as it was awkward to get into the resess.
Looking better
All of these looking better too
Some spray grease to stop them from flash rusting and into a bag
Painted the sump bolts up
cleaned these off
And painted these too
Hit these with the wire wheel
finally painted the cam box bolts and called it a night
Thanks for looking ;D
