I might not have a suitable car, but I should be making the journey on Friday. even from my Dartford base the recommended route is around the bottom of the M25 so I reckon a Clacket Lane rendezvous might be an idea (the Europeans will be passing through that way, I expect). Sounds fine by me Si ;D lol

I have technically sold my 190e and as my sole means of transportation, I'm going to have to miss another RR Gathering. Balls. I take it you have a camping ticket? I suppose If we can make space in the Polo (unlikely lol) we could give you a lift (if you don't mind sitting in the back of a mk2 polo full of curse word). We're not far from you, it'd be a tragedy if you didnt go to this because of your lack of transport. I didn't get a ticket as I was hoping to get one this month as I was broke last month but see that they're all sold out If I can score a ticket, it would be so rad if I could jump in with you guys, I'm only little and don't take up much room! Thank you for the offer, I'll see what I can do about a ticket.

i'm hoping to get the van drivable for the gathering and as long as it is I'll be setting off early Friday morning as I don't fancy getting stuck in traffic with as a 3400rpm stall convertor and traffic don't do much for conserving fuel and its gonna use enough as it is ;D how ever if anything decides not to go to plan and the van ends up on the trailer again I wouldn't mind tagging on if that's ok with you guys

did some calculations and according to google maps it's about 1 hour to Clacket Lane services from Dover and about 1 hour to Beaconsfield services after that. So we'll come off the docks at 11:30 ish, loose eachother big time (just like last year ) and then try to regroup at Maidstone services I think. So if we're lucky Clacket Lane should be possible by 12:45 - 13 ish and then 14:30-15:00 for Beaconsfield services on the M40. Is there anyone who is 'leading' the convoy so we can swap numbers to keep in touch if it goes horribly wrong?

I'll see what I can do about a ticket. from the tickets available thread: I have a weekend ticket available if anyone is looking for one. £26 (postage included) PM me drop him a PM, I'd be happy to pick you up dude - hell the Polo might not even be running in which case I'll be in a Multipla so plenty of room! Do hope to be in the Polo though We're not too far from Clackett lane either, it might be worth us heading there first for some convoytastic action, it's only a little out of the way. Is there anyone who is 'leading' the convoy so we can swap numbers to keep in touch if it goes horribly wrong? Not really "leading" it, but since I started this thread I guess you can have mine! it's 07815 184 258 Anyone is welcome to ring/text it if they're lost or waiting for the convoy. Really looking forward to this now!

I'd say meet at Clacket Lane for 1pm, convoy leaving at 13:30
Arrive Beaconsfield at 14:30, convoy leaving at 15:00
Everyone okay with that?
edit: sounds like a plan, original post now edited, hope to see you all there ;D

Quick stop at Maidstone services to all congregate, then 2 convenience stops along the way. maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=dover&daddr=Maidstone+services,+Hollingbourne,+Kent+ME17+1SS+to:Tatsfield,+Surrey+TN16+2+(Clacket+Lane+Services+(Eastbound))+to:HP9+2SE+to:GL52+9RD&hl=en&sll=51.53195,-0.35579&sspn=1.889648,3.532104&geocode=FWktDAMdoQEUACn_MjNV0aTeRzFRSNdah1x4Mg%3BFe1FDgMdBl8JACFxNb57-B90Hw%3BFddfDgMdyJoAACH01LvWhvJk-A%3BFVA4EwMdLGb2_ynnSWbBJWR2SDHNRaGMmcf85g%3BFf7fGAMdXRjh_ymhagAAYh5xSDF8LzTyIWj-bA&mra=ls&t=h&z=8 So arrive at show 16:30-17:00. Nice. I have just booked the same ferry as you guys. I think the European cars could be considered the 'leader', as people appear to be joining us along the way...

Right, I've got my MOT at 1, near the M25/A21 junction. Then got to get my tax disc and then get on it. I might just be able to catch you lot up if I keep it lit What's the route plan, round the M25 to the M40 or were you planning to try and cut the corner off and go cross country?

Will make note of the numbers above. My UK number is "Zero, seven eight Zero two. Six treble seven, double one". Excuse the format, but I get enough spam on that number as it is.. I will be coming over with the European gents, so as above, feel free to use this number to see where we are... 4am start for me tomorrow. Which is nice I do intend to hit a French hypermarket before jumping on the ferry, so if anyone wants any Belgium beers etc, get your order in quick!
