I do like what you've done with the interior. It is most unusual but very attractive.

Great looking car, well done!
Very subtle but effective mods and excellent vinyl wrapping skills!

Just to add to the love - what a brilliant looking car!
have fancied a Lupo since they came out (not got round to it yet) If I do then I can only hope it's even half as good as yours
also reminds me, i really should sort my headlining out

Looks pretty key man - great little cars. If you need anything fixed on it make sure to give Bruce (MM) a shout as he got well trained on my Arosa recently! I'd love to get a Lupo rather than my Arosa as the round lights are much cooler and what you've done has just accentuated that. Maybe its time for my Mooneyes inspired one to happen (did you see that sketch Will?). The wide wheels looked great but I feel your pain with them (I had 8's on the rear so I can imagine what 9's would be like!). Is the steering wheel boss a generic VW one or a specific Lupo one? The Lupo's take the larger splined boss Mk3 Golf onwards. and what's wrong with Arosa's ;D Amilady massive fan of the interior on this. Very quirky and kitsch looking but still some how looks like a factory special edition. kudos to you, credit to your skills.

thanks for all the awesome comments glad u all like ......... I'm in the middle of arguing with a friend over my car looking "curse word" with a chrome n wood roof rack and a body coloured lowrider thrown on top.. apparently my car is too beach look for a lowrider. A surf board would look better

I think a cruiser bike would suit it better, but I'd love to see one in the Cream n' Green theme your little Loop has going on. In fact I'd love to build one in that scheme, would look amazing.

Haha it's a little tricky fitting a roof-rack to an MX5. Send me a PM if you want something putting together, I'm no expert by any means but I'd love to give it a crack.

I am a fan of Lupos, and this one really is quite special, Loving the look of the car, especially with the details. The interior and wheels are the icing on the cake on this car IMO . I will admit that was one lovely Mk1 to get rid of, but to see what is done with this Lupo makes it all worthwhile IMO .

I think the perfect bike to get for the roof would be a 1960s Moulton Mini or Moulton stowaway. You can pick them up for nothing on eBay if you're up for resto and it'd look perfect on your lupo with the same colours and cream whitewalls. Mini is 7/8th size of full size so probably better for your height. Top Fact: Alex Moulton (designer) designed the suspension on the Austin Mini - so there's a certain appropriateness here. I think it'd make a real nice change to the Choppers and cruisers you usually see - and be a useful talking point into the bargain. Here's Uhura on one:
