Great idea. Is it possible to include a start time for the meets, and ideally a postcode. Some meets have a click link to a thread, but no thread. This info would finish this off as a great resource. Thanks, Ed
can you just confirm the location for the sheffield monday meet is correct, i'm planning on going to my first tomorrow if it is on and need the address and i thought it had moved to meadowhall farm "which i don't know where is".
Officially, the South Yorks meet is now at Meadow Farm and has been for some time. I'm going through and trying to tidy up all the loose ends and had missed this one (yeah, I know, it's taken me AGES). If the Meadowhall pin could be removed that would be appreciated, I couldn't figure out how to do that.
People do still go to Meadowhall, and there is still some confusion, but it was moved away due to antisocial behaviour and complaints from attendees. The new venue seems very popular for those wanting a meet they can take family and pets to.
Shame nothing near me on edge of london. lots of clubs around e.g. Havering classic car club. SEV & CVC etc. these at least doable as not too far away. did do NEC show this year but can't make the classic car restoration at NEC.. sigh always nice to see classic and historic cars on roads. see around one a week near here. everything form old Fords. rovers. land rovers to foreign jobs. many in excellent condition. shame we also see those rusting away gently on driveways or private land.. often refusing to let anybody view let alone sell. saw program few days ago classic cars on TV hosted by Quentin .. showed off rolls corniche convertibles among others. very nice if you have £deep Pockets .. sadly mine are empty as a pensioner after paying too much for an old rover.. not even with power steering..despite growing arm muscles would prefer o get a power steering upgrade but these are both few and far between and a bit ££££. sigh well wishing you lot a lovely summer and many miles of joyous driving. note to self ..try and get to battlesbridge car show this year.
Ive tryed to add our local club triumph group but cant to log in to Google. Could one of you chaps do it for me.
Any retro/classic welcome.
