Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen,
I actually really really don't want to do this as this car is unbelievably good! But not being in the same country as the car and it looking like I won't be returning for a while it is pretty pointless me owning it really.
So here we have my Citroen ZX Volcane for sale as stated I am only selling it as I am not in the same country as it and here in Germany I have no use for a car. I have owned the car for a year and a half and it has never let me down, I even drove it from Wigan to Cologne loaded up with all mine and my girlfriends worldly possesions and it tackled the task without any fuss at all. I returned the car to England at christmas in the worst snow I have ever seen in all my life and again it did it no problem. I then gave the car to my brother to use to go to and from work which is around 6 miles each way so from january that is all the car has been used for. The car specification is as follows:
1994 Citroen ZX Volcane 1.9 (Turbo D)
The mileage is around 140K I will check the exact mileage with my brother and get back to you all.
When I bought the car it didnt come with any service history but came with a folder documenting everything with reciepts to back up all the jobs since 2002.
MOT expires in April.
Tax expires on 1st October so you get a few weeks.
Bad Points.
The car is by no means immaculate being nigh on 20 years old. It has parking dents on the doors, the drivers front wing has a bit of a dent towards the front which looks like at some point it has been pushed out. But the car is solid with no rust. One of the rear brake calipers sticks ever so slightly it did pass its MOT like that in April but it is best mentioned really. The only other fault is that there is a little bit of a clunk sometimes if you accelarate leaving a roundabout. The boot lock is broken and has to be open from the inside of the car and the parcel shelf is also missing from the car because it is in my living room here in Germany so I could send it out to the lucky buyer of this car I am sure. And that is about it really I have been completely honest here that is why I have listed even the minor things.
Good Points.
The best two things about this car in my opinion are the engine and the interior. The engine is astounding! It pulls really well with no smoke and it also returns around 50MPG easily. The interior is immaculate with the comfiest seats that I have ever sat in they are also really supportive so thats also good. In my ownership this car has never let me down and I did around 15K in it in 8 months, driving to Yeovil to RRG 2010 and then to Germany with other day trips around England/Germany thrown in there.Tthe only thing I needed to replace was a brake light bulb in October last year so not really anything to complain about. I have always owned VW before this car and as they are allegedly amazing reliabilty I was a little apprehensive buying french but it is the most reliable car I have ever owned. It really is a 100% genuine car that is all I can say and I am sad to sell it as I love it!
Sorry for the novel here are some pictures.
I apologise for the state of the interior that was taken the day after driving to Cologne so there is a little bit of mess in there but it was the only picture I have at my disposal!
I am putting the car for sale at £400 but if you want to make an offer I can only say no. As it says in the title the car is Located in Yeovil Somerset but could possibly be taken to Ormskirk Lancashire if needed. Any questions just ask!
Thanks for reading
Rob
