Doing the weekend thing. Typing a random pagenumber and look what's there. Read this thread all in once. Great build. andyborris still got this awesome car? Anything to update? Love to see this one in a vid. Got back from the garage and my Triumph build thread is "live" again, over 2 years since I last posted! And yes, I do still own this car, it's not so awesome now though. A quick recap of 2 years worth of fun (sometimes!), which includes just general hooning, taking part in the August 2014 Paris Traversee, serving as a wedding car for friends (and club stalwarts) Colin and Amanda, hitting a kerb and breaking my modified steering and finally, as a result of my dodgy wiring and a very hot traffic jam on the Paris trip, blowing it's head gasket! It's not turned a wheel under power for over a year now, another engine is in the garage, waiting fitment, the cooling system has been redesigned, but as ever, life has conspired against me. A flat move which was very sudden and also unexpected, along with all the work that goes with a new home, me deciding to re-wire the car (relying more on enthusiasm rather then skill or knowledge!). And finally, developing a medical condition, that went un-diagnosed for almost a year and hampered my efforts, all these things have kept the car in the garage. Now I'm receiving treatment, I'm starting to get back into the garage and work on the car, so hopefully one day.......have some pictures. All pictures from the Paris event and lastly Colin and Amanda's wedding, which happened the weekend after I boiled the engine in Paris, but the head gasket didn't fail till the following weekend! The great auto gods smiled on me with that one!

Really hope you find your mojo. i'm looking for mine at the moment and your build is truely inspiring. And i'm probably not the onky onr who wants to see this one driving again. All the luck , also with your personal recovery. And i bookmark the thread because i really like your car and style of writing. cheers frans
