Hi Everyone my dads just bought a E30 and he thinks the 14" BBS look to small so he is after a set of 17" Alpina Replica Wheels also known as Bk171 made by Bk Racing, would also prefer Borbet's, Azev's Etc, Preferably in the Yorkshire Area, Please PM me with Details, Thanks :-)
Btw E30 Wheels are 4 Stud (4x100)

....so he is after a set of 17" Alpina Wheels Is he prepared to pay the £2,500 to £3,000 price they go for when they do, rarely, come onto the market? The 4x100 17" Alpina wheel was only ever made for, and fitted to, the Alpina RLE. Only 66 of these were ever made (with approx 7 further ones built by Alpina from 'bits' but never given a proper Alpina chassis code) So there are approx 73 sets plus maybe a couple bought as spares. The only set I've ever seen come up for sale were at £3,000 and they sold almost immediately. Alpina have a small stock of the wheels, but you can't just buy them from them. They will only sell them as replacements to RLE owners (proof of ownership needed). I know this because even having owned a Z1, Alpina wouldn't even entertain selling me a set when I enquired. It has to be an RLE or nothing. Maybe he'd want to consider the 16" version which came on the E30 Alpina's? Hardly common in the grand scheme of wheel options, but certainly very common compared to the 17" 'unicorns horn' ultimate 4x100 Alpina wheel which, unless you've got VERY deep pockets, is pretty much unobtanium even though they very much exist. Have an RLE on me as a consolation prize:
