Talk to John or steve 244 they might have some laying around for spares... Will do, I have stuck a wanted thread up on the Volvo forum aswell, but they are getting to be quite rare pieces now. Would stick some pics up from today, but the rain hammered down just as i started to mask up the doors Will try again tomorrow

I spotted photos of this car at brean sands - good to see how it's carried on being played with. I prefer the Volvo type front end back on it; surely now would be an ideal time to give it a US twin headlight look?! Yeah the original front is a much better look, but i really am not a fan of the us style "quad Square" or "quad round" headlight set-ups. Think it will look really nice with the 7 inch squares and a 'Flat Hood' Just wish this weather would let me get on with sanding and painting it

Got some more done today ;D, few hours of sanding Couple of coats of primer Several coats of paint later A bit of drying then un-masked and re-assembled I didn't do the rear quarter panel yet as I want to remove the old LPG filler and I'm still waiting for some welding gas to arrive, but it's slowly coming along

Really like where this is going. Good to see so many ideas being played with as well.

The new colour is excellent. Keep the white wheels and the black roof and you're onto a winner here.
Are you ditching the LPG completely then? Would've thought it was a good idea on a 240.

Cheers guys,
LPG went when i got the car as i din't have any of the parts to fit onto the engine, and i didn't want a huge extra weight in the back of the car when i go sideways into corners ;D
Not sure about the roof colour, thinking old english white and then black wheels (fed up of cleaning the white ones)
More work to come this week (have welding gas now)

Okay, been a little while but i have a few updates now. So i finally got some more gas for the welder, now i could smooth off the old LPG filler nozzle Started making up a engine brace whist repairing the tower to firewall braces, Paint is only temporary to show if any of the welds crack, will finish and smooth it all out before a re-paint Also got the headlights i've been after (thanks to steveandhis244) Need to make a decision about the roof colour though, so i quickly photo-shopped up some ideas Old English white Or the body colour all over Opinions or other ideas? My thoughts that it looks ņice when painted in darker green than body color. Like in your second picture.

it's just dawned on me why that car looks so familiar, I remember meeting the guy who'd put all the Camo gear and rifle rounds on the indicator stalks at RRG 2010. Anyway liking the progress of the car. Ever thought of sticking a turbo on yours? dead easy done if you know of a 940 / 740 turbo breaker. Hardest part is taking the sump off to plumb your oil return pipe into.

Personal preference is the white roof. New face looks tidy with those massive square lamps.
