My GOD that was cold.
I don't go 'in the woods' that much, as (surprisingly, given my involvment in the sport) I don't spectate on that many rallies and I absolutely detest marshalling on events where spectators are allowed in. Plus I prefer tarmac. Plus it's always bloody freezing cold.
But just occasionally I make an exception and today was one of those days. The Wyedean has always been a firm favourite since it first ran in 1975. There's always a quality entry, the stages are fantastic and the weather's almost without exception absolutely freezing cold.
I watched two stages today, but there are only pics from the first one (Speech House) as Serridge 2 this afternoon was absolutely RAMMED with spectators and it proved impossible to find a decent vantage point. Plus I was by this time so cold that i couldn't stop shivering!
Enjoy these, I've concentrated on the Historics here (apart from one or two interlopers) but as ever there's a Flickr link at the bottom to pick out your own favourites. I'll add some more when I've had a bath and thawed out....
