Gonna need your help on this,.. (I'm looking at you Rmad),.. Found this : www.tyresave.co.uk/fitment.htmlGoing to use it as a basis for drawing up a chart/database of as many wheel fitments as possible for retro cars,.. starting from say 1985 back. As many makes, models as possible. So we'll be able to have a searchable database of wheels that'll slot straight from one car to another. I want to take it further later, but this would be the start. SO!,.. brain drain time,.. P.C.D, Offset and C/Bore if you know it for ANY car (new or retro),.. if you don't know Offset and C/Bore then P.C.D is a good enough start.

4x3.75inch (4x95mm)Triumph Herald/Vitesse/Dolomite/Spitfire/Toledo/GT6/TR7, Morris Marina (not some vans though!), some new Rovers/MGs, early Lotii (plural Lotus?!) 4x4.5inch (4x114mm)Big Triumphs 2000/2500/2.5/Stag/TR4/5/6 (not 7 - see above), MGB/C, Farina Austins (A60 Oxford/Cambridge), Marina Vans...(that's a neat trick when you put Marina discs on Moggys...you use van hubs and A60 wheels which look like standard Morris rims!), Datsun/Toyota classics, Rover 800 series (dodgy offsets though I'd think) 4x4inch (4x101mm)Austin/Morris small cars- Mini, A40, Minor, A30/A35, MG Midget... I've run out of time now...but I'll fill in some more later! Here's another useful link though...it's a US site but it backs up some of my rambling! www.telusplanet.net/~chichm/tech/wheels.pdfIf you've got any specific questions though HotWire just ask!

On the American chart when it says 4 Stud, PCD 3.75 ,.. what measurement is that 3.75,.. the tyresave.co.uk chart has PCD as 100 or whatever the size is,.. I take it tyresave is mm and US site is inches??

Most manufacturers decided on the stud pattern in pre-metric times (except those clever Europeans! eg. BMW) ie. Ford...whilst listed as 4x108mm in most places is actually just the old 4.25 (four and a quarter) inch measurement converted into mm.
