OK, who remembers years ago a some cars didn't come with places in the dashboard for your cd player, so you bought those black plastic holders, put the cage in that, the radio in that, then screwed it to the bottom of your dash somewhere?
I need one for an audio install in an old motor but can't seem to find them now. Any suggestions peeps?

try finding a metro or a land rover in a scrappy, sometimes used in those!

Got mine from halfords after buying one damaged for twice the price on fleabay (genuine Rs )

I used one from a mk2 fiesta in my mini as they sit perfectly under the heater , may be ok in other cars too?

just make a pair of little right angle brackets - all stereos (well all the ones I own and have owned) have mounting points on the side - just use the correct length screws.
