word of warning...make sure you go up a size or two or three when moving the battery to the boot, you will be suprised how that extra length of cable will affect your cars electricals, ie starting, charging etc. We have a mk1 escort and moved the battery to the boot and due to poor starting we had to get some real heavy duty cable ie 20mm, ok so it is running a 2.3 n/a cosworth engine and the power drop was more crutial
re locating battery to boot- leads long enough?
