Looks good, have to say I sighed a bit when you said you were fitting 18's but if they look like that pshop ^^they will look epic. And they look like the wheels I used to have on my van, which I was always a big fan of Sounds like you have a good motor there anyway. 2.9 Cossie next? ;D

I would like to have gone a different route with the wheels but i bought the 18's new for £800 quite a few years back and they only did a few hundred miles on the car before i got rid of it, with nothing else to fit i tried to sell them but the best they made on egay was £160 so they have been sitting round in the garage since, i did bolt them upto my old cortina mk4 and they looked mint but unfortunately i never got that car back on the road.

If it's a factory fitted sunroof don't mastic it, it's sposed to leak a bit round the seal so check the drain tubes and rod them clear with a wire coathanger or similar

Thanks for the input guys The sunroof is an aftermarket job, i added some 1.5mm glazing tape to the seal but its still leaking so it looks like ill have to take the frame out and re-seal it all. Anyways, on a brighter note i was struggling with the lack of power steering due to the impossibly thin and non-stick coated steering wheel so a little mod was due, Take 1 spare Granada Cosworth steering wheel, Grind off the indicator cancel notch Mark up a groove for the sierra one and grind out Tidy up, check fit of the Sierra plastic cancelling thingy, Add a bit of black tape and paint so the ally bit isnt visable when fitted And bolt it up What a difference it makes when driving, tbh i can hardly tell its not got power steering now there is something to grip! While i was at it i removed the cheesy air horns that had been fitted and reconnected the original Ford hooter, whipped off the mudflaps that was fitted on the front only. Just a few simple mods but it put a real smile on my face and reminded me what playing with old cars is all about, and the total cost £0.00 ;D Off to the tip with thee

Passed my test in an identical but Sapphire shaped one of these... colour and wheeltrims the lot! Car looks lovely, but the wheels really don't suit it. How about Cossie Lattice rims even? I'd go for a subtle OE+ route with this myself.

PS, Some real Ford perverts pay good money for those flaps! Hope you haven't binned them yet!

Good to see another one being looked after. Low on steels is always a winner (I am biased as I've a set of bandeds on mine). should look well with a bit of subtle lowering.

Nice, prefer them to the 'shopped 18s, suit the period of the car more.
