May also consider straight swaps or swaps with cash my way. The car is a 1970 PI version, but at some point over the years the PI system has been removed and it's now running on twin SU carbs. It's been modified slightly too, I'll let the pics do the talking, but to summarise Good bits Pre 73 so tax free PAS Minilite alloys Rover 200 sei front seats to replace worn originals Spin on oil filter conversion, with oil feed to rockers Electronic points New cap, leads and red rotor to replace the curse word repo ones Oil pressure gauge fitted Kenlowe fan Webasto roof Manual with working overdrive JVC radio cd mp3 player Mountney wheel Front indicators swapped for clear lenses Rear seat belts bad points few bits of rust creeping in in places, mostly door bottoms clutch release bearing noisy, but clutch works fine It's a 42 year old BL car! Pics from various points Fitted a back box I had lying around the other week, I'm still not convinced it suits, but it makes it sound nice!

Cheers guys, she's not a bad old bus, and as Mal says I'd probably regret selling as soon as it went, however I suffer from a terrible affliction called boredom, which usually strikes around 6 months after buying something! I'm in no hurry to sell, but it just seems to sit there and not get used, which is a shame, maybe I should just use it more??

Well I'm putting as much time and effort as I can into the Escort at the moment (family allowing) so if it's still sat there not getting used once the Escorts done I'll come and look.
Just one question, in the 10th photo there's what looks to be a rust repair to the sill near the drivers A-post, could you please confirm what this is?

Just one question, in the 10th photo there's what looks to be a rust repair to the sill near the drivers A-post, could you please confirm what this is? It's exactly what you think it is. There are a couple of photos that came with it when I bought it showing at least the NS sill being replaced, and possibly OS, but I'm not sure until I dig all the bits out of the cupboard.

Nice car Mate. I'm sure that won't be for sale much longer. In 1973 my fiance wrote off her Dad's one, same colour as yours too. Rolled it twice, no other vehicle involved. The snobby b*tch just walked away and got her Dad to buy her another one. Way to fast for a woman driver!!!!!!

I've done so many K series head gaskets now, I can do them in my sleep, the only things I'd be wary about on the KV6 are inlet vis valves and motors, the stat housing and if the belts are due or have been done. I'd not entertain a ZT manual, had 2 75s and both had knackered clutches due to failed slaves in the bellhousing.
