Cut the springs, matt black it, stickers on the glass and it will be perfect.
Just joking!!!!
That is a beauty, was looking at a Nova sedan last weekend and saying to Nicola they are not as common now, and are another car I would be happy to own.
Glad you are keeping it standard.

Wow, thats astonishing! Agreed - Totally standard is the way to go on this one. Changing it would ruin what makes this car special.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Before I picked the car up I already had thought about lowering it on a set of 15 inch alloys of some sort, Compomotive MO's or similar. But after myself and others having a good look around the car, I think it would be best left standard. Here's a photo of the engine bay now: When I got the car: It could be cleaner but it's a better improvement. Would like a new washer bottle and should be getting a new header tank soon to brighten the engine bay up a bit.

Looks a lot like my first car, except without rust. I'm not a Vauxhall fan, but I must say the shape of the Nova has dated very well, and yours is a fine example

Thanks again everyone for the good comments! I have had 4 previous Nova's and now I own this white one and also a later MK2 'K' reg Luxe+..... think it's hard to get away from them! lol Today I repainted the griffin's on the center caps which turned out pretty well. I have also ordered a new GM rear silencer and plan on painting the rest of the exhaust with some silver VHT, just to freshen it up to match. I have a few other bits and pieces to do yet but I will keep the thread updated.
