No link unfortuneately. He made a comprehensive forum post about the car and then for some reason or another he removed everything from the forum. I think he had a falling out with some of the forum people.
He posted some of the info on an english Micra page, but that also went sour.

So after recommissioning the sleeping boxy with a new battery which in tern also sorted the dodgy starter motor (good call by mk2 cossie on that) and i dropped a new pollen filter in too. Then it was onto the k11 again.
She wanted the nasty grey plastic satin black...... Job done but the wife will go mental when she finds out her nail polish remover was used as a panel wipe 🙄

It's started raining so after loading the mongoose into the yota with my son it was dragged under a tree. Mongoose should be on by 9am tomorrow morning fingers crossed.

Just had a call from the hooligan. His mongoose is now on and the cat is too. No point in decatting the car, he's keeping it stock and I won't be doing the whole on off lark with the cat for every mot. Power gain =0%,stainless system is no brainer tho as it should last the car for years

Dragged myself into my temperary workshop this evening..... Another job off the list.

Painted the silly jdm tow loop thingy and associated nuts and clamps. Made sense while all the stuff was to hand........

Was asked to fit a mirror on a grand c max so did that and also refitted the ra ra's rear tow loop eye thing too.

And the new exhaust sounds like this. To be fair I'm glad we kept the cat in.
Apart from the hassle if stopped etc and the yearly refit agro which I have no time for anyway, I think it has a really nice tone to it. Obviously in an empty off road car park so its not as loud in the outdoors either

My son wanted to check out a jdm meet at Cobham services last night. Both cars were de wintered and cleaned for thr trip out and put some of that e pensive petrol in. Was a lousy trip to be fair due to some crash on the M25 which was annoying. Got there early and went for some food. Then the cars started arriving 😎 heres some pics, enjoy

Mixed bag today. Weather was fine and seeing as both mid engined cars performed okish yesterday we decided to start sorting the ra ras grey nose cone. Literally as soon as things were masked off I got a pic message. My son was in a shopping centre admiring the pool of coolant pouring out from his car. Finished the micra, loaded up a bunch of "get it home" stuff and headed there. Sorted the leak but 4 litres of water weren't enough. He pulled over just shy of a roundabout with the temp gauge screaming at him. The sheer number of ar£&####es that nearly drove into his car was beyond belief. A bright red car, hazards on and the boot and engine lid up🤦🏻‍♂️ I dived back into the centre but they wouldn't let me into the toilets to fill the 4 litre tub back up🤬😠🤬😠🤬😠 I eventually found a cleaner who I cannot thank enough. He took the canister and filled it up for me. Bled the rad at the roadside and got us both home. Then we both started on the ra ra.

Had a bunch of fields to cut today so had to have a crash course (self taught) on topping etc. All done and took a few pics

So after another whole day of driving up north again for parts, my son came home with these. Need slimline wheel nuts, 4 new tyres and 5mm spacers for the rears as the rears foul on the rear caliper carrier thing. As for fitment, they are just a whole load nicer than the current ones
Looks high at the rear as it's still on the trolley jack. They also resemble the rev 5 Toyota alloys too.... To a point... and standard always works well. I had oz alloys on my rev 5 and they were very similar to the ones on this, just 2 inches wider.
Still waiting for a reducer to arrive for the new radiator sender unit and a few other small bits.....one job at a time tho

So after months of fighting the yota, I found an 18mm to 16mm reducer. 2 never even arrived but out of the blue one showed up yesterday. Put a big bowl under the rad to catch the coolant and we were off. Used pfte tape on the threads and swapped the rubber seal off the new rad bung and it was all done. Even kept the collected coolant and ran it thru a sieve and back into the bottle. All seems fine after months of hassle, break downs and constant disappointment.
Should have the wheels ready and the calipers painted this week so my son can head off to Tanoshi on the weekend.the ra-ra had a new throttle cable too and now drives so much better (apparently). Had to change a bulb on the farms landie and also the two window motor mechs.....
And then, good old Ali express stuff arrived that's taken so long I'd forgotten I'd even bought it. Indicator extenders for the granada. Need to adapt things a bit but nothing crazy
Did some work on the tractors, made a horseshoe hearts thing for one of the girls at the farm and knocked up a metal scrap scorpion to sell in the farm shop. The pig I made sold for £100 ( all money went to the farm)
Got the chandelier for the farms loft up and wired too.
