Making of cleans..VIP enjoys a bit of detailing and kindly spent a weekend at The Auto Bahn making the 750 more presentable Mucho jet washing to remove the heavy soil: Gets us to this stage: The tools of the trade: Then a G4 / machine polish.. ..gets us to here: (ignore the denty wing - more on that later)Then some wax.. (it rained before I got a pic but the improvement is massive) Inside given a quick spruce too: Then this is how she stood at the end of my 1st weekend of ownership (June 10th) - big thanks to Dan Next up, wheeeeels..

Next up, lowness & coooool stuff... Actually, a brief interlude to acknowledge Lady HC has helped a bit Dirty floormats: Tatty floormat: Fixing floormat: Cleaned, fixed & refitted floormat: The interior really doesn't need much else. The central locking didn't work on the passenger front door but MantaPhil has since taken that apart & fixed it, and the rear blind is broken so I'm keeping my eye out for one of them.. I might change the headunit too cos multichangers in the boot annoy me. Next up, lowness & coooool stuff... (really this time)

Lowering & coooool stuff (round 1)...So we're up to June 20th now, I've owned the car about 12 days, driven it a mile tops (it was delivered to TAB for me) - about time I lowered it dontcha think? The tools of the trade (& associated spring-carnage).. ..means it now sits a bit more like this (that's 2 coils out the front only) Not exactly spectacular, but the smaller tyres aren't helping, and you'll recall it used to look like this: So it's definitely better. Far from enough tho.. I also got some eBay goodies in the post Before: During: (ColonElk is assistance) After: Nice. Aforementioned removal of colour in effect.. Next up, mwoar lowering & mwoar coooool stuff...

Thanks gents I'm enjoying it very much - it's nice to have something I can improve / mod to my tastes in a relatively short time period for little money - need to keep reminding myself NO MORE PROJECTS..! It's a dream to drive too, even on cut springs it rides lovely and for a 1.7ton car the performance is ballistic ;D I'll get this right up to date today - few more bits & bobs done..
