If our group cant get enough tickets we will be camping off site, but was wondering what people had planned for the campsite (like the spraygazebo of 2008), because if it looks like its going to be more madness, we will start mugging people of their tickets (or pleading with people, whichever is more effective)

Not quite on topic, but
I'm a gathering newbie, I see pics of gazebos, sofas the works. I've got a dome tent and a fishing chair.
I guess what i'm asking is will I spend my evenings sitting alone in a corner cause I have little to offer?

BBQing, drinking, talking rubbish. Pretty much the order of the day. The weekend is a holiday to relax and catch up with mates. Friday/Sat are chillout days, Sunday is action day.

I've found pretty much everyone to be very friendly, don't feel intimidated by wandering up to a group and introducing yourself. It's pretty much how I've made the many friends I know through here over the years.

Friday and Saturday evening up in the club house is the best place to be Friday evening Food and hopefully some DVDs (lovely chicken and chips last time). Saturday evening another Hog roast is in order I think, last year was great. Fully licensed bar, good prices, comfy seats and great people, what more do you need? (also means less stuff to pack ). PandaSelecta I'd bring my own food if I was you tbh, our supply of food tends to be a bit on the meaty side

Gimpy, Toby and I (Toby is 7 now) had a great time walking around the field just chatting to random peoples and found everyone to be super friendly and awesome!
Just go and talk to random people but look out for Nathan (BGTMidget123456789) on Saturday night, last year he was running around in his pants a lot...
Look forward to meeting you again!
Rysz.

talking rubbish, drinking homebrew very very great cider, making fire, taking nightshot pictures (or at least try), talk some more rubbish, make some new friends, saturday=headache day, BBQing, more BBQing, breakfast BBQing, driving weird plastic bicycles round a field, offroading in a Ford Pop... actually that wasn't such a good idea...., spraygazeboing (repainting cars/bits under a gazebo)... basically having fun with similar minded people!

Davenger and I are both taking acoustic guitars, so if anyone else has any musical skills there may well be a bit of a campfire jam (without the fire part) going on at some stage. Depending on how much cider gets inbibed...... Other than that, I have no plans to do anything other than kicking back in a field with about 450 of my buddies for a day and a half, getting drunk, talking trash, pratting about and chowing down on various bits of flame-grilled animal, followed by participating in the best damned car show in the world. I don't think I've ever looked forward to anything automotive-related quite as much as this year's Gathering.

Rysz. he has done this for at least the last 3 years now ;D #Tradition ;D It was a hot evening and Politt wanted to try his new Sharpie pen out... ;-). Anyway back on topic, just mingle everyone's friendly and in most cases have a burger or 2 on offer as well. :-). Last year we watched a DVD or 2 around the fire and generally walked about talking curse word about cars. Come over and say hello. Very Excited now.
