hey guys, havent been on here much recently since starting back at Uni as a mature student last year. But as I now have something that I feel qualifies as a retro ride I thought id share some info. As you can see its a TVR (a 25 yr old TVR in fact) however its not particularly standard, in fact its not even close for those of you interested (which is probably very few of you) I have started a blog on the car and my adventures with it. 24valvetvr.blogspot.co.uk/please have a read if you want, and then post away here with any thoughts, questions or comments.

I started reading the first few posts, cool story! I'm contemplating buying a TVR sometime too, and it's nice to have an idea of what I'd find ;D
Do you have a video you could post here? I'd love to hear what it sounds like... Yummy

isnt slow, but not as quick as it might be. need to get it all mapped up to my own specs and ideals, preferably with some BOB cams fitted too. however its quick enough atm to put a nice smile on my face

Blimey. These things are 25 years old now?
The post-wedge cars seem to have dropped into the modify-market alright, but haven't really been spotted yet. Nice to see somebody ahead of the scene :-)

great classic with a modern twist. Do you have more information regarding the itb's? Was it an off the shelf kit or was it developed by yourself?

Do you have more information regarding the itb's? Was it an off the shelf kit or was it developed by yourself? its an off the shelf kit from Jenvey themselves - £1403 plus vat !!!!! www.jenvey.co.uk/home/throttle-body-kits/jenvey-dynamics/ford-scorpio-v6-sf45-throttle-body-kit-ckfd06Hi,great car got a mate with same set up in a sierra near 300bhp with BOB cams, had it set up and mapped at Willfield motors Abercynon.Tom`s really good with emerald done quite a few,got one to fit a set up on a minor N/A Cossie in a couple of weeks ah right, ive used Tommi plenty of times in the past for RR days and tuning. he setup my old E21 2.7 on triple 45's and it ran lovely i didnt know he did tuning on aftermarket ecu's though - very handy to know, thanks

My brother owned a 1990 S3 for about 15 years. I driven so many miles in it. Superb cars with such an awesome soundtrack. Undervalued. Have fun!
