and yes i have split the gearbox and taken the clutch off looked prety standard to me

first pic is of the m3 engine loom nice and easy plug and play, note the twin vanos control
ciols then six plugs for the coils and six for the injectors
, next picture is of the loom modified for the stand alone ecu which will still control the twin vanos on the cams

Right last post for a week or so need to get on with making a wiring loom, not easy trying to make 1970s wiper/headlamp storks control modern relays, datsun in there time liked to switch earths to everything, mix that with a stand alone ecu and you get this, with a bit of luck i should get it running next week, the easy bit is the fuel system, fuels pumped into the filter then into the vacuum controlled regulator on the end of the filter then one return and one feed to the fuel rail easy !

Progress is slow due to it being just above freezing for the last 2 months but there is some, thought i had better make sure the car is square before making the roll cage mounts so started doing a dummy run for the pannel fit, the doors wings bonnet tailgate and bumpers are going to be fibreglass (god there light ;D)so here are some pics

Did you notice the square hole cut out in the tunnel this is so i can weld in a plate for the m3 gear lever its just a rubber bush and a large grommet the the two rods attach to the g/box



ordered a toyo R888 the 10 x 15 minilites came shod with 245 40 15 avon CR500s but i think they was quite old so the only decent rubber you can get is the toyo R888 in 235 50 15 i was well pleased it came up a bit wider than the avon and just proud of the rim
